Blinker works Brake lights do not

 I recently noticed my brake lights were not working. After checking fuses and replacing the brake switch at the brake pedal they still did not work. After viewing multiple videos on troubleshooting I was still not able identify the solution - but I had recently had also been having the chime issue and so I had taken apart my steering wheel column to fix the problem
